Much better day as we found our ATM stock. Started out shaky, win-stop-win-stop... then hit RIMM with three consecutive shorts which made the day nicely green.

[10:19] }jfjf64} hit me   11.401
[10:19] }jfjf64} bs
[10:19] }Threei}  ??
[10:19] }Threei}  stop should be UNDR .40
[10:20] }Threei}  how can it be executed ABOVE it?
[10:20] }jfjf64} arca  print .51
[10:20] }jfjf64} 10  cent stop
[10:20] }jfjf64} hits  me
[10:20] }Threei}  ok, this is not right
[10:20] }jfjf64} ol chuck
[10:20] }Threei}  stop is under .40
[10:20] }jfjf64} grrrrrrrrrrr
[10:21] }Threei}  why do you put it at 10 cents
[10:21] }Threei}  if tat means above .409?
[10:21] }Threei}  .40
[10:21] }jfjf64} i hv  my brackets set  up  auto   10  cents
[10:21] }jfjf64} you  dont  agree
[10:22] }Threei}  [10:09] }Threei} Long Setup: SOLF .50 break
[10:22] }Threei}  [10:09] }Threei} if holding .40
[10:22] }Threei}  .40 is support
[10:22] }Threei}  it's lost - stop is to be taken
[10:22] }Threei}  stock is holding above .40 - why would you sell it
[10:22] }nemo} out solf took .59 for half close enough to 1:1
[10:22] }jfjf64} i  got  hit  auto
[10:22] }jfjf64} .51  filled
[10:23] }Threei}  you are not hearing me, jf
[10:23] }Threei}  you are placing the stop wrong
[10:23] }Threei}  it should be under .40
[10:23] }magoo} stop .39/.38
[10:23] }Threei}  if your 10 cents brackets puts you above .40, it's the wrong way to place stop
[10:24] }jfjf64} then i  hv  to  tk  off  bracket
[10:24] }Threei}  long trade is stopped when support is broken
[10:24] }Threei}  short trade is stopped when resistance is broken
[10:24] }jfjf64} i  understand
[10:24] }gregns} jf you still using TOS
[10:24] }Threei}  you don't place stops where you want them against what chart tells you
[10:25] }jfjf64} if  yaa  say  10  cent  stop   i  get  filld .51   .41  is  stop
[10:25] }Threei}  no
[10:25] }jfjf64} correct
[10:25] }jfjf64} i must  tk   bracket  off
[10:26] }Threei}  I say:
[10:26] }Threei}  [10:09] }Threei} Long Setup: SOLF .50 break
[10:26] }Threei}  [10:09] }Threei} if holding .40
[10:26] }Threei}  that's not 10 cents per se
[10:26] }Threei}  it could have been:
[10:26] }Threei}  if golding above .35
[10:26] }Threei}  depending on where support is
[10:26] }jfjf64} then  i  change  bracket  to   .15  cents
[10:27] }Threei}  it still would be wrong,
[10:27] }Threei}  because your stop placed this way dfepends on where you get your fill
[10:27] }jfjf64} i  cant  tell ya  amount of  times  i  get  stopped
[10:27] }jfjf64} correct
[10:27] }Threei}  chart has no idea where your order got executed
[10:27] }jfjf64} with  slipp
[10:27] }i2r} manual stop is better for these things
[10:28] }jfjf64} sometimes   say  .4  cents
[10:28] }Threei}  whether you got your ordwer filled at .51 or .49 or .55, stop is still under .40
[10:28] }jfjf64} do  you  recommend  mann  ual  stop
[10:28] }jfjf64} i agree
[10:28] }Threei}  if you get too wide stop, decrease size
[10:28] }Threei}  and do not use market orders for pete's sake
[10:29] }Threei}  limit order at the max price you are willing to chase to
[10:29] }jfjf64} i  use  market  order
[10:29] }jfjf64} 2  wrongs
[10:29] }jfjf64} grr
[10:29] }Threei}  asking for troubles, and WILL get them
[10:30] }Threei}  if, say, .50 break is trigger, determine what your max chasing price is
[10:30] }Threei}  let's say .53
[10:30] }strider} stopped solf
[10:30] }Threei}  send limit order .53 buy at the moment of .50 break
[10:30] }ese} L ctsh .05 1/2 lot
[10:30] }Threei}  you wil get .51, .52, .53
[10:30] }Threei}  but not higher
[10:30] }nemo} only 10k shares ese?
[10:31] }jfjf64} follow
[10:31] }jfjf64} then  stop  manually
[10:31] }Threei}  if you have to leave your computer for some reason, put in auto stop
[10:32] }Threei}  but use right price as a trigger for it
[10:32] }jfjf64} ty
[10:32] }Threei}  not those werid brackets that don't take chart support in account
[10:32] }jfjf64} stupid  me
[10:33] }nemo} well...at least you're aware
[10:33] }jfjf64} get  filled .53     stop  .43
[10:33] }jfjf64} i  get  hit
[10:33] }i2r} double bottom on SOLF
[10:33] }jfjf64} all  still in  money
[10:33] }i2r} would be nice
[10:35] }nemo} db solf
[10:35] }i2r} i'll take it and see

[10:36] }magoo} look at BHI now vad
[10:37] }nemo} yeah following it, this might be the turn right here
[10:38] }nemo} the low is a support area
[10:44] }gregns} Vad, i took RIMM bd of .95 to .81 cuz  I saw dbi,, correct? or was the range too wide?
[10:45] }magoo} missed LVS
[10:45] }jfjf64} hard  to  read   this  lvs
[10:46] }Threei}  looks right to me greg, I just think I would streucture it as 57 break with stop above .10
[10:46] }gregns} ok thks
[10:46] }Threei}  that would keep you in decent stop range, and took you into 1:2 near .80

[14:22] }nemo} I see the right side as .75
[14:22] }nemo} well .70
[14:26] }nemo} yep
[14:27] }jfjf64} sometimes  ya  right
[14:27] }nemo} just looking at the chart formation
[14:28] }nemo} actually only good for a little over 1:1 so far
[14:30] }nemo} jf lvs
[14:30] }nemo} I think rimm goes to at least .30 and then the 200 ma which shoul e about .45-50 when it gets there
[14:45] }nemo} what about rimm in this area Vad?
[14:45] }Threei}  going lower
[14:52] }ese} done for the day...cya tomorrow
[14:53] }Threei}  take care ese
[14:53] }ese} cya vad
[14:59] }Threei} Short Setup: RIMM  .90 break if stays under 56
[15:03] }Threei}  1:1, half out
[15:04] }nemo} I couldn't take that with so much support in the .80 area
[15:04] }Threei}  shrug
[15:05] }jfjf64} i will say  ty 3i
[15:05] }Threei}  welcome
[15:05] }Threei}  some have no faith whatsoever
[15:05] }Threei}  the day gets fixed, trade by trade
[15:06] }nemo} not that, I see all that support and I go "huh?"
[15:06] }Threei}  1:2, 1/4 more out
[15:06] }jfjf64} i will keep  quiet
[15:06] }jfjf64} ty  again

[15:07] }Threei}  1/4 welcome
[15:07] }jfjf64} trade  by  trade
[15:07] }jfjf64} jf  likes  that
[15:07] }Threei}  1:3
[15:07] }Threei}  out in full
[15:08] }jfjf64} ty  again
[15:08] }Threei}  lol
[15:08] }jfjf64} nice  read
[15:08] }nemo} what did you see that you thought it would break all that support
[15:08] }Threei}  last three trades are all shorts on RIMM
[15:08] }Threei}  all worked
[15:08] }Threei}  and turned day into profitable
[15:08] }gregns} yes, ty bad in beginning of day but got better slowly but surely
[15:09] }Threei}  I don't know what you see as such a string support there
[15:09] }Threei}  strong
[15:09] }Threei}  also, support or resistance by themlves don;t matter much,
[15:09] }nemo} .75-.80 areas multiple times came to it and boucned back
[15:09] }Threei}  it's what stock does around them that really matters
[15:10] }Threei}  market lost steam, srifted lower,
[15:10] }jfjf64} no  understand
[15:10] }Threei}  RIMM overall is weaker than market,
[15:11] }Threei}  lost 46, and continued drifting there instead of immediate shot back up as it would do if it were really strong
[15:11] }Threei}  56, sorry
[15:11] }Threei}  this kind of action is a trap for premature bounce buyers
[15:11] }Threei}  it will sit there for a while, then suddenly lose support andkill them
[15:12] }Threei}  and only then will it bounce
[15:12] }Threei}  as it did off .60
[15:13] }jfjf64} c/h lvs?
[15:14] }Threei}  not sure
[15:33] }Threei}  Meredith Whitney: sees housing getting worse in Q3 and Q4 - CNBC interview (related XLF )
