LVS spiked up sharply on the morning enthusiasm caused by GM, bounce from oversold and whatnot. Normally I'd wait for clear double top or some other reversal setup, but things were happening quickly so we settled on a bit more risky kind of entry. LVS touched .35, retreated under .30 and made a few quick moves between .20 and .30 within 1 min, 9:38, so even 1 min chart doesn't show that. It's "You had to be there" kind of things, but the idea is traditional: forming a range, then breaking it to trigger the trade. Upper limit of this mini-range was .30 - not even trying to retest the high at .35; this added some confidence to taking short position. 1:4 risk-reward was reached quickly as Sir Newton was proven right.
