01[11:38] {@Threei}  Greece seemed to slide further toward default today, as various Eurozone officials began admitting even more openly that their governments were preparing contingencies for Grexit, while EU officials talked about how effective capital controls were during the Cyprus emergency. For his part, PM Tsipras said his government would still offer a big no to a bad agreement and reiterates that further pension cuts are not possible. Other Greek officials confirmed that absent a last minute deal, there was no money to pay the IMF at the end of June.

01[13:30] {@Threei}  (US) Preview: FOMC rate decision to be released at 14:00ET; Fed economic forecast at 14:00ET; Yellen press conf at 14:30ET Though the Fed has removed the last of its calendar based guidance and indicated that any future meeting is now "live" for a possible rate hike, rate liftoff is not expected in today's policy announcement. Economic data has only just started to rebound from the anemic Q1 numbers, and most analysts now see the September meeting as the likely timeframe for the Fed's first rate hike. It seems highly unlikely that the Fed would spring a surprise rate hike on the markets today after spending years talking about transparency.
