Jun 28 2010

This is an example of so-called conservative entry (see http://blog.realitytrader.com/2007/07/how-aggressive-are-you.html for explanation). Other than that, it's a bounce-stall-consolidation setup with clearly defined resistance to break; very tight stop, about 10 cents, and nice reward.

[13:00] {Threei}  (US) Fed's Warsh: Fed should consider making a gradual exit from its MBS portfolio; sales will not begin in the near term
[13:00] {Threei}  - Further expansion of the Fed's balance sheet would require "strict supervision," would need to be convinced the benefits of expanding balance sheet outweighed costs.
[13:00] {Threei}  - Fed funds rate will be the Fed's dominant tool moving forward.
[13:00] {Threei}  - Believes the Fed needs to clearly differentiate rate policy from balance sheet size and composition.
[13:00] {Threei}  - Current financial conditions are less supportive of growth, persistant high level market volatility could derail the recovery.
